Scripture Songs // Psalm 107:28-31
When I was young I remember my Mom writing tunes to scripture. She used it to help memorize quickly. At the time I didn’t fully understand but I've grown I've incorporated it as a tool in my own life. It’s amazing that some of the little songs she wrote way back then still echo in my heart today! What a gift to have His Word tucked away! There are so many reasons to memorize scripture but I’m going to tell you a few reason I can speak to personally. Most importantly - Go

Step Into His Glory
Today is my Mom's 2nd heavenly birthday. There have been a few things in life I have frankly told the Lord - I cannot face that. Losing my Mom was one. She had a passion for passing on music (and her faith!) to the next generation. She also enjoyed writing songs and teaching them to the kids. Simple tunes that would provide truth. This is one of my favorites. Written in call and echo form - it’s easy to learn and a song that sticks with you. I can remember my Mom sin

This World is Not My Home
Two years ago this coming Friday I walked my Mom and best friend to the door of heaven and said - see you soon. For forty years she was part of my daily life - loving me and investing in my faith as only a mother could. She loved Jesus more than life and I’m thankful to have witnessed her courageous faith even when faced with an unexpected diagnosis - terminal brain cancer. I have much to share and hope to do that in the coming days in honor of my Mom. She loved music - a
